  • Lap Swimming at JHS

    The Jamestown Parks and Recreation offers Lap Swimming at the Jamestown High School Pool from 6:15am-7:45am, Monday thru Thursday.  Charge is $15.00 per month or if you are a JRFF member you can lap swim for free.  Monthly membership cards can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office, 1002 2nd Ave. SE.

  • Public Skating at Wilson Arena

    PUBLIC SKATING - The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department announces that public skating will be offered on Sundays from 7-9pm during the winter months starting September 27th.  Dates for Public skating in October are October 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. 

    Cost: Children/College Student- $2.00, Adults - $3.00, Family - $5.00. Skate rentals - $2.00. Skate Sharpening - $3.00. Punch cards (12 punches) are now available – Children - $20.00, Adults - $30.00, Family - $50.00. Skate Rentals - $20.00. Skate Sharpening - $30.00.   • Two Rivers Activtity Center



    JAMESTOWN, N.D. ( – The final votes are in and preliminary results show that the Two Rivers Activity Center project has passed.

    According to initial reports from Stutsman County, 1,771 voted yes or in approval of the 1% City Sales tax. 1,178 voted no or to reject the use of the sales tax. A total of 893 absentee and early voting ballots were counted and a total of 2,949 ballots were received overall.

    The Jamestown City Council will canvass the votes on Monday, June 8th. The sales tax will be put into effect until June 30th, 2035 to help assist the construction and beginning operations of $28.6 million TRAC project.
